Cookie Policy
Version 2.0 · Last updated: 26 June 2026 · Under GDPR (EU Reg. 2016/679) and the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to personalise your experience, and to provide information to site owners. Cookies can be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (which remain on your device for a defined period).
We also use similar technologies, including pixel tags and local storage, which function similarly to cookies and are covered by this policy.
Cookies We Use
We use three categories of cookies on Weshmind Journal:
| Category | Purpose | Consent Required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Essential for the site to function. Enable navigation, security, and your cookie preference to be remembered. Cannot be disabled. | No |
| Preference | Remember your choices such as colour theme (light/dark mode) across sessions. | No |
| Advertising | Used by Google AdSense to show you relevant advertising based on your browsing history. Activated only after your explicit consent. Revenue from advertising supports the publication. | Yes |
